My sweetie had to run a few errands in Bridgeburg, and she would stop here to refuel, and then come home raving about the food and the service. So when we were looking for someplace special to go for breakfast, I decided to give it a shot.
My sweetie, she's pretty smart. This place is terrific. The Super Skillet was probably the best breakfast I've ever had in any restaurant, ever. (Sorry, Disneyland. I still remember your Mickey Mouse pancakes with fondness for the concept, but homemade pancakes are just better.) My sweetie likes the Eye Opener Special.
I'm also told that the donairs are the best in town, so I really need to go back later in the day to give them a shot.
The service was definitely friendly, but not so in-your-face that I felt compelled to say, "Hey, I'm just here for the food. I wasn't looking to start a relationship." (Granted, that is probably a tough balance to strike, as different people are comfortable at different levels of interaction.)
We don't spend a lot of time in Bridgeburg, so I don't know how frequently we'll be back, but we will be back. Oh, yes.
